As part of the 6.9 rehabilitation, I am investigating replacing all the accumulators. After considerable research (30 minutes on Google), I have come up with a price of US$630.75 plus shipping for all 5. Question is - is this a reasonable price ? What have others paid ?

I hope to have the car started this weekend !

Last time I bought some they were $195 each from ASV

In my enthusiasm to get all of my cars running again, I overlooked the fact that the 6.9 IS running again ! Had a couple of water leaks, which hopefully are now rectified and a noisy lifter - again, hopefully now rectified, and an exhaust flange leak, but overall, it is running and will be taken for a drive tomorrow.

Here is a photo of it taken today

CraigS, it will be a welcome addition to the fleet of mobile 6.9s. Do you think you will be keeping the car. ? Regards. Styria

Having just put the factory headers back on (now ceramic coated), I will not be going in there again to change them !

Syria - yes, this one is a keeper - if only to piss Michel off !

Its good to know it went to a good home. And there is another 6.9 back into service. They are becoming endangered in this day of high fuel prices no one wants them or drives them. It would appear. :(

Did someone mention fuel prices?

Filled up the Yaris today at the local BP.

Three different fuel prices:

91 Octane: $1.60

95 Octane: $1.70

98 Octane: $1.75

I did use 95 Octane to fill up the Yaris which cost $52.84
