I realise that it is a bit presumptuous of me to suggest a detail day folks but I think it will benefit young Tim and any healthy exchange of skills, ideas and opinions cant be all bad lol.

Tim gets a nice shiny car and a new skill set and a good time is had by all!

Something like that Tim yes, And if I buy in Sydney it has a far better chance at being maintained compliments of your yearly inspections and the added bonus of getting MB Spares to do any niggly stuff on the way home.

What dates work for interested parties? The 1st weekend in September is good for us, either the Saturday or Sunday. Let's strike while the iron is hot and make this happen. My place is near the Sydney end of the Putty Road so a slightly shorter trip for Tim and I promise an interesting BBQ/Lunch.

Sept 1 and 2 is Spring Fair - Miss Olga would never forgive me if I fail to take her and the kids. Don't let that put you off that weekend though - it's just I can't make it then, The following weekend is fine.

Sat 1st September Hunter Valley event that is where myself and the Battleship will be.

The next weekend, 8-9th is out for me, Six 3 has been asked to perform wedding duty in the Hunter Valley. The 2 Weekends after that I can do bar Sunday 30th, the day after Karen's birthday, which she tends to celebrate with vigour

Drove to Newcastle yesterday shocking weather now the Battleship is dirty again!
