The suspension lock actually worked, so no panicking when the hoist came down and no worries about being beached in the workshop!
Down a bit at the back after coming off the hoist & going back into normal position. 100m up the road & it settled to a uniform ground clearance. A little shameless advertising for Radiant Exhaust in Laverton North!
Quick trip home for her first hand wash in years before dark. Tomorrow will be hot pressure wash time and fixing up other details.

Well I didn’t get everything done before the Fangio run. Mostly cosmetic, so it didn’t really matter anyway. I didn’t even get to give her a good vacuum! 
But it wasn’t concours I guess. Those things just bug me but I was just too exhausted after all the mechanicals!
I didn’t get to mount my external mic but that was a blessing since she started running rough in the afternoon. At least I got to enjoy the day and have a good shakedown run. I suspect the injectors, but that wouldn’t explain why it would develop a misfire later. Plugs & fuel filter were replaced, plus fresh hi octane fuel. Maybe water in the electricals? I’ll check leads & suppressors next...

I was amazed to find the cruise control and stereo worked! Even the hydro suspension lock!
Other urgent things to fix are the driveshafts, rear ball joint boots, rear strut boots, check rear rotors, leaking rear valve, coolant, DS tail light lens and front calipers.
Cosmetics include new instruments, steering wheel, grille, bonnet insulation, number plates, drivers door, jack points and plugs, some interior trims and a good interior clean and external polish.
