Not too surprising, to my way of thinking.
My first Holden was one of those horrid 4 Cylinder 1750 Toranas, (Vauxhall Viva derived), with the Bedford light truck engine !
I wouldn't mind if I had one (owned one?) now, because it would be associated with lots of good memories, much earlier in my life.
Try to buy a V8 Torana. Most people associate those with Bathurst racing which continues to have a huge public following.
In latter days I have been able to rationalise my thinking a bit.
My V6 W202 is a much better and cheaper alternative to a 6 cylinder UC Torana, but it is roughly the same size and shape.
