BenzBoy, the Peugeot featured in this particular advertisement really represents a magnificent car. When in Austria back in 2008, a childhood mate had exactly the same car as featured here. Beautifully finished interior, the car just oozed quality and solidity and was an outstanding performer when the pedal was depressed for more speed. We went for quite a lengthy drive in the beautiful countryside, and one could not fault the car.
On account of the Diesel engine, just a bit of an Aircraft interior hush which was surprising, and Hans (my mate) could not tell me what size engine lurked under the bonnet - he said "how would I know, I have never lifted the bonnet - it always goes" so perhaps that illustrates the sort of reliability one would wish for. I am not sure, if in this country, a Peugeot would be an ideal choice on account of possible servicing and parts costs, so one would have to be prepared to bite the bullet, and perhaps accept the challenge of possible substantial expenses in owning a car such as this.
