What I have heard is that the M120 is a good engine, but the cars it can be found in can have other issues like biodegradable wiring harneses.
I have heard the M137 was NOT a good engine and should be avoided. I don't remember why.
the M275 is good but suffers from fragile coil packs. The M275 is a twin spark plug motor, so 24 spark plugs and one coil pack unit per bank with 12 coil packs on each. The individual coil packs cannot be replaced so you are looking at $1500 USD per side.
