People will pay top dollar for 10/10 cars. Personally I think to get a price like this it would need to have less than 100k on the clock, but we'll never really know the true selling price anyway as this is just an asking price.

500SL 107. In my view the best of the 107 SL's as the 560 looked over done with the various spoilers, 3rd brake light etc.

Car looks ok from the fairly poor quality pictures, although I would be assuming it hasn't actually done 38k from looking at things like wear on the seat etc.

Yes. You're probably spending about $28k for the previous ownership and $6k for the car. Celebrities often don't maintain cars very well as its easy come easy go.

To my eyes, that 450 certainly seems to be in top notch condition, and it is heartening to see this model sell so quickly and, possibly, at the advertised price. I did in fact call in to the Oldtimer Centre last Saturday just gone, as I wanted to have a look at some E-Bikes at a shop just close by.

I had driven past the Centre on my way to the bike shop, so took the opportunity to call in and "kick tyres" as I had a little bit of time up my sleeve. The dealership is quite an eye opener with just about all of the cars in beautiful condition, beautifully detailed and beautifully overpriced - but that's the price you pay when dealing with a niche dealership. I mean, really, it is up to the individual to decide what is an acceptable price, but I certainly could not fault their preparation and ultra professional presentation. If one wants a really nice car, and as long as warranty conditions are acceptable, one could well consider doing business with them. There would have been probably thirty to forty cars on display, all very nicely presented. Their website does show details of all cars on display, and if one has a bit of time up their sleeve, have a look - it's worthwhile.

There were many cars I would like to claim ownership for, such as a $30K. 500CL Coupe, as well as a DS5 Citroen Sport and another Citroen C5, both Sedans in immaculate condition. Regards Styria

I find the text accompanying the photos like chocolate that's been sitting in a hot car, with sour cream mixed with hot Spanish salami surely you can't get a better knock back than that as crass as it might be.

There is no denying that the car is in lovely condition, but for that sort of money one would expect perfect and semi gloss timber finishes - not the dried out, rough and coarse timber as evidenced in this car. You see, it's easy enough to present a car in lovely condition as this one, but if you want to refurbish the timber, you just about have to pull the whole dash to pieces - that's a two thousand dollar job. Ever tried it - I certainly have and I can vouch for its complexity.

Look, the car is nice, but $18,000 should see it out. When all said and done, the 230S was nothing special - it didn't even have fuel injection. Anyway....Regards Styria
