As I am a space program nut, I’ve always wanted one of the Project Apollo Astronauts Corvette Stingrays.

Are you all aware of Chevrolet’s input to the Astronaut program since the “original 7” right back almost to Project Mercury?

Just had a wheel alignment carried out on the C220 which was done at my local Mercedes $99 the castors and toe in and toe out was adjusted.

I could note the difference after the alignment.

Ordered the two other hubcaps which will take a few weeks to arrive according to the Mercedes Dealership.

Postage is of course taking longer due to the ongoing virus crisis.

So many shiny new Mercedes at the Dealership the yellow A45 AMG with a rear spoiler caught my eye.

There was a silver S350d on display and lots of AMG’s very flash indeed!

In fact the C220 was originally purchased and serviced by Mercedes-Benz Newcastle way back in 1996.

When I arrived at the outdoor service centre I did tell the guy the rego and he did have the original owners name and suburb on file we had to update that information.

Sat and relaxed in the showroom which was very flash but sorry to say the Nespresso coffee was quite ordinary but hey it was free so you can’t complain right?!

Now you have had your alignment, please keep a close eye on your tyre pressures.

Maybe when you get new tyres next time, opt for the nitrogen instead of compressed air?

Patrick.. selling Cars is a Big PITA. Dealers don't want them once out of Warranty and with only 20/30 Ks . With Mercs in the past.... does it have Leather .. a Sunroof ...unmarked Paint etc, etc, all for half what the Dealers are asking.

I,m not looking for a W116, but if I was, I would be interested in this car. I like its an import with the high comp engine and the velours. I like the colour too. As its a UK import, I suspect the instrument cluster has been changed, so I think its probably maybe on the expensive side. For future reference this is: 11603322072565
