    The Rover P5/P5B

They look like XJS wheels although I could be wrong.

    The Rover P5/P5B

It's a lovely looking car. Some of the pictures for when the car is sold and the ad taken down.

    My Coupe

Sounds interesting. Much better a M119 than yet another LS swap.

One quick way to tell if an older member has logged in or not is to look at the 'points'. (under the avatar, below the total post numbers on the left of each message). These get checked on login, so anyone who has zero but was an existing member has not logged in since the software upgrade.....

    Removing hood pad 560SEC

You can do it as a one man job fairly easily. I've done it on two 126's this way. i used quite a thick adhesive to make this possible: Coupe: https://www.classicjalopy.com/2019/05/w126-bonnet-insulation/ Saloon: https://www.classicjalopy.com/2019/08/w126-sedan-bonnet-insulation/

    What’s better than a RUF 560SEC?

    Looks really good.

    My Coupe

That's a big improvement. really like the wheels. You mentioned their not final - what is your eventual wheel combo on this car? Just noticed your engine has the trimmer plug from the high comp engine so you can probably advance the timing a bit and get more performance out of it. With...

    Big Red

This is a really interesting article about Big Red, a concept gas turbine truck made by Ford: https://www.thedrive.com/news/37925/we-found-fords-incredible-turbine-powered-semi-truck-big-red-thats-been-lost-for-decades

My 1964 Rover Mark IIA Coupe

Here are a few pictures of the restoration of this car and the other two P5s in Styria's workshop. Aligning the bonnet is apparently quite difficult on the P5 which is why so many of them have misaligned bonnets. There are two bolts that go through oval holes that provide the adjustment...

March Photo contest - cars in the countryside

Nab - I think for the contest software to work, your photo needs to be uploaded to the forum, not just linked.... You should be able to edit your post to keep the likes you have....

    New filter won’t fit??

That is a real bodge job. And maybe took longer than carefully checking the housing like you did!

    Removing hood pad 560SEC

Not sure what the paint is like on your car but if good it is worth putting on a new pad. The heat from the engine will eventually crack the paint above the heads. Even on my lowly 230E this had happened as the PO did not bother to attach the pad. Coupe pad is different to sedan!

    C107's C107

Thanks, that would be good. Tonight I ran the car for about 30-40 mins up in the air so I could see the drains. Eventually, after about 10 mins water started coming out of the passengers one only. Nothing out of the drivers one, or on the floor. Once I stopped the engine and let the...

    Styria's European Transport

Hi Sean, I don't think it has been this way for many years. it still is in the United States for pickup trucks though.

    Styria's European Transport

We have twins and my wife is part of a group called multiple births. There are plenty of people with triplets, multiple sets of twins etc and the Carnival is a pretty popular with that group, especially for people who want to buy new - the 7 year warranty is pretty compelling.

    Styria's European Transport

Personally I don’t know why minivans get a bad rap. Much better than an SUV for taking 6-7 people
