BTW - going through the meinbenz site, it's amazing how many choices in colours there were for any period during the production run. When we bought our Territory, Ford gave us about 6. Anyway, FWIW, I'd like to see the Cray in a rich deep blue on white.

I have already been there, but the colours are meaningless.
They are nothing like the actual colour, and even if they were, you would have trouble picking a colour for your car from a narrow stripe like that.
Still looking for colour photos of W116s in various shades of green.
That Silver Green that Benzboy posted looks better than I thought so I may go original, but would still like to see what the others look like.

I am making a slow but hopefully complete recovery from my Sophia's-Undies-Fits, and have had a couple of days rest and many cold showers, enough time to follow up OBH's tip on how to use the colour chart mentioned above. Thanks for that, just what I needed, real photos, of real cars in various shades of green.
Much as I admire anyone who has a car inCitrus Green, I am not sure I could live with it permanently, and have narrowed it down to Silver Green or possibly Pine Green.
BTW, I couldn't resist the temptation, and did a YouTube search for Ms Loren and have had a serious relapse. There are some real gems out there, but suspect I may spend Xmas sleeping in a tent.............
