Has your mechanic had a look? Might be easier, quicker and much less of a headache... ?

My mechanic (other than the Godfather, who normally looks after the 690SEL) was on holidays and has just come back yesterday.

But, to answer you, it's no... I haven't asked him, also cause I am not comfortable that he would know *when it comes to 6.9s)

That thread was started 12 years ago Godfather!

We’ve since had a GFC, many birthdays and GTGs as well as miles of road travelled. We’ve even weathered a global pandemic!

You’ve had many trips over to Prestons for various reasons — some to check out the 690SEL — and i have to admit, the car has been behaving very well, as long as it’s taken for a decent drive every once in a while.
