LOL @YOU GUYS , it is not so simple , i did use all methods to find/buy again/ shop the missing parts , put the blame on everyone , all become friends but still the outcome is garbage , missing things and faulty parts need to be changed , if the car is not restored i will get rid of it but still i didn't give up not yet.
so far i'm not see why MICHEL LOVE the w116 not from my example of it , don't forget i'm a w126 guy and believe it is the most pretty model of them all.

uhhh sure the new S CLASS IS NICER BUT WAY TOO EXPENSIVE STILL.

if my w116 is not looking as my w126 then i will admit i failed in this project , meanwhile i'm trying to trade it with the 190 2.3-16 which i adore since it came out late 80's , but they want to decrease the value of the 116 and increase this one so we still bargaining the MIDDLE EAST WAY LOL.

Hi Tarek, thank you for clarifying some aspects of your situation for me. Are you sure that I cannot help you ? You may just wish to have a look at a small selection of interior parts I have on hand.

Thanks GODFATHER , that is real treasure what you show me but what is missing i can't identify till i get the car and i'm only sure the missing parts will be the red 4x4 flasher and the bolts joining the handles to the doors and the inner 2 sides of the back door ( upper parts) we call them the bones here and they are in blue, plus the passenger ( right) inner front door -the existing is cracked and need to be changed that for start.

TONY was that English for get lost out of here?? LOL i need an explanation , i bet it is a JOKE but since my English didn't reach that level of humor yet.i didn't get it.

The flasher part I have readily available at no charge. With the others, unfortunately I can't help you on account of distance and difficulty of postage. Regards Styria

a Pop culture reference Tarek, taken from an English comedy movie Monty Pythons "Life of Brian".

Specifically from a Stoning scene, Impossible to explain so watch this...

Well it is a comedic film about a guy called Brian and follows the storyline of Jesus Christ, it is fairly blasphemous in its story so I can understand why it may not have surfaced in the Middle east in the 1970's.

Although I was raised a Catholic I have no real views on religion and love a good laugh so for me this was a great movie.

It doesn't sound too bad Tarek. You'll feel much better when she's on the road...

TONY , i enjoy comic movies specially MELL BROOKS 70's movies too and for sure i believe that religion is between the person and GOD and i respect all so you don't have to feel you walking in minefield when talking with me.

LOL I don't feel im walking a minefield with you Tarek and im not overly careful when it comes to talking about religion anyway but I could understand why "Life of Brian" wasn't shown in the middle east years ago as the Movie upset the Catholics and Jews a lot when it was released originally in the 70's.

And I too think that Faith is a matter between a person and God.

What is the colour of the interior Tarek? Is it leather? I really like the navy blue on the outside and you could be creative with some orange highlights...

I guess it all comes down to personal taste. I like the W116 in any colour except brown. But I have seen some nice brown ones which have caught my eye...

I'm wondering why you bought it if you don't like the colour? And given you've gone all out on your Red Piglet, why you haven't decided to change the colour?

So if the colours are getting you down, paint it a different colour and buy another crappy one for it's interior. Ordering some new seat coverings through Styria will ensure you stay happy well into the future... :):)

HI MARK , you deserve an explanation , i love the COLOR BLUE as i bought it and the interior was bm tex also blue , my problem starts when i am the one who chose the new color from chart and in real it turn other tone of blue which till now i don't really in love with, plus the seats are done very poor ( ME THINK) plus the missing pieces which was misplaced and i think i lost the stamina to finish it - i will wait till my mood changed , already changed the fuel pump and tank and coupling which i was not aware that need to be changed

and before this the distributor it cost me 4500 USD all together which i was not counting.

it now can tell i pay the car price times three and no success in the outcome.

any decision now will be ridiculous so i will wait.

When choosing colours to paint my Buick I've done plenty of research over the years. Up till now this has been my method: Look at other cars on the road and find something you really like. Find the colour code and receipe and you're done. That way you're not experimenting. If I do decided to forge my own way with a unique colour I'd spray a test panel and look at it in all light conditions over a period of time to ensure I'm happy.

I do think you need to negotiate a good deal for a repaint. You want to stare at the car and say WOW I love that colour! And not glance at it and have it remind you it's a money pit.

The colour of the interior sounds nice. I do think some aftermarket retrims can look odd, so if it was me I'd order the correct ones when you can afford it and be confident it'll look nice in the end. The missing trim pieces can be collected over time so I wouldn't worry about that.

If you backed out now you probably wouldn't get your money back, so bite the bullet and get it done right. You'll love the results in the end! :)

Take it home if you have room and pop it under a car cover for a while Tarek, it sounds like this is really eating you up so for clarity of thought id just hide it away and forget about it for a while and concentrate on Piglet.

MARK, very sweet of you , THANK YOU , the colour was not that bad but its me who mess it up by not following the project and that lead to my losses , i wouldn't get even half of what i pay , so i will not be rushing things.

TONY , the car still not ready to take it home -neither red piglet , i'm working on them still. plus my garage is totally full but that other story.
