These prices are final hammer price and so some of these cars would not have met reserve and not sold.
The thing I have noticed since moving back to Australia is that people here don't really understand the exponential scale of condition like in other countries. None of these cars was in great condition and that impacts values.
For example, take a 450SLC.
A condition 1 car might be worth 60k
Condition 2 car 30k
condition 3 car 15k
Condition 4 car 7.5k
Condition 5 car 3.75k
People see the 60k price for the show winner and think their average driver with no history is work even close to it, and it's not.
