Love the colour.
Just needs those horrible aftermarket chrome arch molds removed. I would imagine the 5 speed transforms the car. I drove an automatic 180E and didn't care for it.

I had a manual version that I bought to use in the LeMons series, but I sold it when COVID-19 hit and the series folded.

These prices are final hammer price and so some of these cars would not have met reserve and not sold.

The thing I have noticed since moving back to Australia is that people here don't really understand the exponential scale of condition like in other countries. None of these cars was in great condition and that impacts values.

For example, take a 450SLC.

A condition 1 car might be worth 60k
Condition 2 car 30k
condition 3 car 15k
Condition 4 car 7.5k
Condition 5 car 3.75k

People see the 60k price for the show winner and think their average driver with no history is work even close to it, and it's not.

Yesterday, when raiding the shelves of Repco (everything " most" discounted by 20%), I spotted this car from a distance. My keen eye told me "you must inspect" on account of its quite impressive looks from about 30 metres away. Sure enough, I soon discovered that it was a Bentley and out came the Mobile to take some photos, and along comes this God founded Van spoiling my vision and the beauty of the Bentley. Anyway, I was stuck with the thing. Here is the Bentley in question. Regards Styria

No Patrick, not necessarily - I know the section you are referring to looks a bit odd, but it is not clear what it actually is. No, I am referring to the rearmost stainless strip that's at the rear end of the sill mould. It may only be an optical illusion, or perhaps the "angle" of the bottom front of the rear guard - it just doesn't look right. Regards Styria

Spotted this 450 SE/SEL on Benz World, posted about May of last year. At Auction it sold for $5700.00 with a well worn interior. Exterior appeared to be in nice condition, and it is good to know that even the model sold for that price. Augurs well for GOOD quality 116s. Regards Styria

I f I could justify spending this amount this car I must say ticks most boxes for me at present other than step up height . It has room for Perth shopping trips for everything including mums wheelchair and that's where step up height is issue . This at just under 30k is more acceptable in price to me and very desirable having once had a lift in the late WGB 500E I like them a lot plus I was around a few in Cantberra favorite newer Mercedes is the CLS55 but this comes with 80% off the performance without some off the cost including purchase . So would I Bryce . But anything out off WA is basically impossible to go view at present . And I cannot see that changing soon even needing proof off vaccination passport just to go to events . I have had them but what country and century do we live in again .
