Personally, both cars fall well short of a "5" rating. All things considered, a "3.5" would be appropriate - perhaps. The interior of both cars need a $10K. refit, if you want something that's really worthwhile keeping in the long term. They seem quite similar in quality to a car that's just fetched $31K. at auction, so expect these cars to probably go even higher. I guess by the standard of what one pays for the Aussie Muscle Cars, these 6.9s, at more than $30K. each, represent great value. We all know the fantastic sums Aussie, and to a lesser extent, American Cars attract on the market nowadays. Then take a 6.9. Still reasonably cheap to maintain, but if you had a car with great duco, a new interior, excellent in mechanical condition, a 6.9 would run rings about any of the Aussie Cars from a "quality" point of view - and for a lot less than, say, a $150K. That will buy you a great, great 6.9.
