Come on, if you destroy a 500 engine, you'll get another good running one somewhere for a couple of Gs.
You destroy that 6 litre and it's your life savings into repairing it, because the chances of finding another one at the wreckers are buckley's and none.

Moral to story don't destroy it . Maintain it and look after it . Besides my priority shortly is looking to buy a house so I actually have somewhere I can park my car and not renting.

I have owned a w220 s430 for 8 years and have just driven it to Darwin and back. Now has 200000 on it. Has been an excellent car with virtually no issues.

Yes just over the border is what I am looking for. But as for V12 cost don't check M100 rebuild cost . They are more than most complete cars sell for .

Love the colour. This isn't a bad one to have. You get the short wheel base (better in my view) but with a V8.

You may also find he's open to offers. This car has been for sale for months. Price was higher before, but not drastically.

I felt that from his message after I asked for the VIN.
He wanted me to ask him questions, but I wanted to check the VIN and it’s authenticity first.

Its generally pretty reliable, but if it fails, the car is not operative and it can be extremely expensive to fix. Sometimes it's just some speed sensors, but not always.

Its completely unnecessary on a 420. With its extremely tall gearing & second gear start, you'd have to be driving like a complete yob.
