Another few hours well spent this morning. t took a bit of fiddling around but the new old radio is now in place. I still have to remove those hinges which is not a job I am looking forward to but all in all a good result. Had to take the inner lining out of the glove box to get a nice fit but, it came out easy with no damage.

That clock looks very similar to the one in my 56 Chevy.

Well, been a few days since any updates but have been waiting on stuff to arrive. Fitted my two door mirrors and front badge bar. Have also got the roof and guard in primer so it is ready for paint once it gets a bit warmer. Been a bit slack getting some other stuff done but will hopefully have electronic ignition, fog lamps, radio and other bits on my list completed in the next few weeks. The more I look at that front on picture the more I love this old girl, just something so special, to me anyway.

Great progress on a beautiful car.

Still a bit too cold to put the top coat of paint on so filled in a few hours by removing the old glove box hinges to get a nice snug fit for the radio. Also some sheepskin covers for the seats and the roof aerial fitted so progressing nicely.

I was asked if i could do a video of the newly installed radio working so here is the link. At the moment the radio is using a 5.5 inch dash speaker with no fancy sub woofers or bass sound controllers but gives out good sound/volume for now until i decide if i want to enhance the sound quality.
