Painting a Bumper and Boot Lid Artic White no damage just Paint Idea of cost

No offence Patrick..... Yes I have always tried to control costs. I recall my Shop Manager telling me that I ran the Transmission Shop on the smell of an oily Rag. He was the opposite, loosing his Service Station and his House being a nice Guy . I was able to buy him a new Volvo from our cash...

Painting a Bumper and Boot Lid Artic White no damage just Paint Idea of cost

Looks can be deceiving Michael The Paint is crazed after painting with pressure Pacs. Sure as hell if I fork out to have it done in an Oven, someone will run into the back. 80% of accidents are nose to tail in Sydney traffic.

    Anti Lock Brakes

I know they are only as good as the Tires on the Car especially the Fronts. But does the system have a life cycle ? Can it be tested as it ages ? If the dash warning light goes out on start up is that a guarantee that all is well ?. Should we do a " Rattle Test " now and then, to trigger it...

    Still learning

Increasing the Turbo Boost does not equate to a Power increase. Apparently increased Boost increases Air Temperature which the Std Inter Cooler cannot cope with. Hot air reduces the air molecules , less oxygen , less Power. I read that the most effective way to increase the Torque in our C...

    Pressure and Vacuum

Perhaps for Patrick...... thinking about fitting a Turbo Boost Gauge ..... Is Pressure and Vacuum actually the same thing in the inlet manifold ?? and or the inlet tube before the Air Flow Meter ? Instructions are to tap into the line running from the inlet intake tube, before the AFM, which...

    6.9 Transmission Upgrade

Interesting observation on how to decrease the value of a Car by modifying it. Even restoring one can be a money pit...... friend who rebuilds/restores wooden Bodies of Post War Riley's, is realistic when asked, what is the Riley was worth after spending $100,000 on a total restoration...
