    AUDI A7 3.0 litre TDI

Hahaha, Yes you are spot on, car owners are certainly de evolving to the point they don’t even know where to put fuel in some cases, as they always have someone else to do it. I’ve been asked on many an occasion to go to our local Men’s Shed to put together basic “how to” on cars. I’m stunned...

    AUDI A7 3.0 litre TDI

Any diesel that also runs DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid] or what we more commonly know as AdBlue have this issue reduced by around 90%. Vehicles running EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) and a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) only, were designed to not need the “new tech” or cost of AdBlue due to the...

A big WOW on the way home...

In 2013 my mother in law wanted to buy a new car. She asked me to find her the right car (as she did with the electric mower you may remember I posted a couple of months ago) So after a good bit of homework, I decided on a Honda Jazz. She wanted something that was a tad taller, and a bit of...

Here are some comparable Bentley Mulsanne rear end shots for you to compare Styria. The guard vents are fake brake cooling vents.

    AUDI A7 3.0 litre TDI

What a great thread. Imagine a Silver Shadow being gutted and re fitted overnight. What a job. Yes, A mate of mine bought his wife an Audi A2. Nothing but trouble from the time they owned it, until the time they traded it on a VW Tiguan Wolfsburg.

    AUDI A7 3.0 litre TDI

Styria, This was a very well cared for and serviced car, (by a local mechanic not Audi) one owner and just near me in the Blue Mountains. Under the car, inside and under the bonnet were like new. Of course the owner said nothing regarding any “issues” The oil issue was completely unknown to me...

    AUDI A7 3.0 litre TDI

Brian, Perfectly valid points. I should have added in my post that the car I was referring have probably been passed through many hands, and had not seen OEM dealer servicing probably after 6 months of its life. Properly maintained Europeans are of course good examples for sure.

    AUDI A7 3.0 litre TDI

Styria, Yes it was the one that appeared here. It had just over 100k on the clock and it would consume a whole sump of oil down the the add line (4 litres) in around 350km, however blow no smoke at all. It would also just do the weirdest things, for no reason. All Audi’s I have been involved...

    AUDI A7 3.0 litre TDI

Painfully it reminds me of the 2011 A3 convertible we owned. A beautiful car that proved to be a total shit box after 5 years. That’s why we see great Audi’s at bargain basement prices. They should be dismantled at the 10 year mark and recycled. Not as spare parts but as proper recycling...

    450SE picks up his 450SE

I love the colour. I’d say there is something wrong for sure. As I said, the missing star is a sign of neglect and no care.

    450SE picks up his 450SE

The middle of the back seat looks ratty as well. The star missing indicates neglect to me.
