They were Des; they were the days. You in your Reliant Robin and me in my Trabbie....
And some people still think they were Russian. There was nothing rushin' about those days, was there Sir Des? :D
Regards,
Brian
Ps; I feel mighty cheered up now Sir Des is back.

I have been kicking myself for the last two weeks for not moving faster on a $500 Lada Niva

Some Comrades YOU guys turned out to be!

Hand in your socialist workers party cards immediately!

You forgot one of the finest products to come from behind the iron curtain....

The Škoda 120L was sold in Australia during the late 1970s and early 1980s though sales suffered from laws that limited numbers imported annually due to their being manufactured in Czecoslovakia which was a communist state. Despite this the 120L received a positive response from the motoring press who acknowledged it as offering good value for money. This was the last Škoda model sold in Australia until the 2007 launch of the Škoda Octavia and Škoda Roomster. It is estimated that approximately 20 Škoda 120L's survive in Australia.

Compliments of Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Škoda_120
