Hi Styria yes the original Hyabusa recorded a top speed off 321kph on a road test at Paul Ricard in France my 2008 model is the current model with 200hp and speed limited to 299kph it is fitted with Yoshimura exhaust and tuned with a power commander computer which has removed the speed limiter and recorded just over 200hp at the wheel as stated in a earlier thread i have taken it down Kwinana Beach dragway and recorded a time of 10.42seconds at 243kph not bad considering my larger size:eek: i am still to decide when i put my 6.9 back on the road as to what plate to fit i own 2 custom plates allready RAPTOR which is on my bike and MEMNOCH (devil) which is in storage was on my ute plus maybe even my sign name:D

Hi Motec,

Well hopefully you'll be ready before 2012, so you can come over to the East coast & participate in the US M100 tour of Aus! I'm sure many would love to see your car. :D

That indeed, Sir, is a gain of just about a hundred ponies over standard. Quite some achievement. Maybe one of these days, when you have a bit of time up your sleeve, you might like to give us a run-down of just exactly what mods. you have carried out on your 6.9. Why not start a separate thread, maybe with some pics as well, and we could keep it in the Technical Section ? Regards Styria

Hi Styria as i have said in the past the mods so far are custom made extractors with 2.5 inch dual exhaust pics on this forum. Motec m48pro computer engine is euro motor out of goldie 2 made 215.7 hp at the rear wheels. that is were i have left the car for over a year as i have not had the time to work on the car with work commitments. Now i am home i have decided not to go away for a while after talking to my engine tuner if was decided the problem was the 75mm throttlebody on the manifold that was confirmed to me by Cam after learning his car made more power when fitted with the 560 throttlebody. So recently spare manifold was worked upon to fit 100mm throttlebody bought of ebay for ls motor then fitted to my motor from goldie 2 it was discovered also that my timing chain needed replacement so new one was purchased and fitted then car was retuned on the dyno and power is now 293.2 hp at the rear wheels more than happy but as you know the cost has been a bit extreme to get where the car is now. Next objective is to paint the car and put on road to enjoy before finally finishing of the original motor it has been machined parts purchased just needs final assembly but all i really want is to just drive it at the moment:D

Congratulations Motec 6.9! Any idea how much torque? What does it sound like? Would it be fair to say a large chunk of your expenses could be attributed to the Motec & new fuel system? I'd love to see a video of the dyno run!!! :D

Hi Tony thanks for that the extractors cost $2500 to make the exhaust $1300 so $3800 all up. Currently preparing my car for being repainted having removed the trim and interior durring the week before returning to work on night duty:(
