Hi Mark will ask this weekend . When I last spoke to Stan he said around 1200 a rim . With full adr's approval. after refurbishing my Pentas owe me about 450 a rim.

My old rims were Australian made CSA VIP rims not the cheap Asian copies for sale now. I think the set in Nareelan I posted are the CSA but they are 17x7.5 offset is 25 so they fit well with 245 tyres.

In my opinion, these AMG Monoblocks don't really suit the 116 DNA. Just too plain, and the design lacks imagination. 18" Bundts as we have seen on eBay are much more attractive. Let us not forget - I have yet to see a more distinctive Mercedes rim than the Bundts. It wouldn't matter where you'd see one, you would always associate one with the three pointed star. Regards. Hi Styria the Bundts on eBay are not 18 inches they are 16 or 17 inches depending on cutting up 14 or 15 inch Bundts . Which is were the problem lies they look great but would never be road legal in this country. As I have said I have approached a wheel seller who deals in high end show car wheels about ordering new billet Bundts . I still may go down this path as the cost is not to unreasonable . They will put a Bundt in a jig to be laser traced then put into cad cam program then upsize design and cut wheels from billet. The cost I will reconfirm for Mark this week end at hot rod show . So look for me to post pictures after show. I was advised the cost when I was asking a few months ago was about 40%higher than me buying Simmons wheels . Which I think is fair to have something that distinctive and only set in the world.

Oh really?? What brand? Rounded to an even $4K for unique wheels and it wouldn't be too bad!

Hi Mark waiting for Stan to Email back he is agent for all billet brands from USA. He has asked me to bring my 6.9 so he can measure clearances. If you look at cars from W.A Hot Rod Show he supplied wheels to most. He is go to guy in W.A with wheels. Boyd, Billet Specialty's American Republic, Simmons , Dragway, Dayton.

Hi Mark if I do go down billet path I was thinking Bundt's as they would get more looks than Penta design . As I feel people will see them as just another 5 spoke even though they are an attractive design. Were Bundt's People would look and go wow and instantly look just right. apparently price goes down with more ordered per wheel.

Yes I agree about the Penta issue, but don't dismiss the Centras....

Hi Mark Stan sells those as well . And no I have not forgotten Centra but Stan needs wheel to trace design and send cad cam drawing to wheel maker. These cars were on his stand had about 4 cars .
