In comparing some wheels I had on my car, I learned something today.
The early W124s (until 1989) had forged wheels, same as the W126 and R107. Most of these were 6.5x15 ET48. Sportline are 7" and some base models were 6". Part 124 400 1802.
Then, in 1989, they cheapened them, and went to cast wheels. Part 124 401 0802.
Later cast wheels on the left, forged on the right.
