Saw it the other day & missed a chance to take some pix. Well you can run but you can’t hide!! Lol! What I really like is the blacked out look. Not so sure about the side skirts....

Finally got more pix! 450SEL Euro version without AC originally. Current owner had it for 30years! Apparently his kids want it when he goes... Encouraged him to join up, but I doubt he’s tech savvy!

I think it was common back then to try to modernise older models with new style components. It’s very rare to see them now so I found it fascinating but personally I prefer the chrome bumpers.

Yes, I had a 250SE some years back that had been done up to look like a 280SE. Even had the M129 changd out for an M130.

Interesting, but I am with Bryce - chrome bumpers are the way to go, and I personally much prefer the AMG reproduction spoiler that I have sold and fitted to a number of 116s. Regards Styria

Yes I’m the same. If you want the 126 look, buy a 126!

But a full kit on a 116 must be very rare in Australia if not the world
