Success at last.... our C 250 CGI is quicker than the C200 CGI !!! There is a Turbo Boost valve on the Turbo Housing which retains some Boost during up shifts (Now I know !) Made of Plastic with Neoprene O Rings and an internal spring which after 10 years gets tired. Coupled with a Turbo Boost control Valve (Two different animals) a better driving Car. The Boost Control Valve alters the opening of the Waste Gate.... an after market fitting to increase Boost across the range. Factory setting is on the conservative side.
Happy Days....except that the fitting process is not for the faint hearted. Screws located by Braille underneath, but on the top of the Turbo Housing.

Sean, you got that Irish blood in you - or it Scottish - nay, don't get cranky with me. I will see you tomorrow, nice food, and if you bring the better half, there can also be some great music to listen to, if so desired. The food fare looks great, all of us have been doubly vaccinated, no one showing any symptoms, and none of us ever go anywhere to catch Covid 19. Styria's place is all good and all safe. Turbo Boost Valve now replaced on the C200 CGI as well.... From a spritely performer to a little Rocket Ship
Amazing up lift for both C Class W204s
I guess the Solenoid & the internal spring weaken with age ... 10 plus years. Maybe 80 years in Human terms !!
