Initially, one could check injector/engine running characteristics by loosening one injector at a time on the fuel distributor with the engine running. If you want to go a bit further, use a slave fuel line, fit it to the fuel distributor and the injector that you must have removed, disconnect the switch lead at the side of the fuel distributor so that you have constant fuel pressure when turning on the ignition, and then push down the diaphragm that sits in front of the fuel distributor.
This will then enable you to observe the spray pattern, also if the injector drips, and then repeat the process for the other seven injectors. You'll probably spend three hours or so on this work, but at least you know how efficient your injectors are. Regards Styria
