Brisbane is the same, have an accident on anywhere near the M1/Gateway and it all goes to hell in a handbasket. Only now are the govt thinking that its a problem. I'll only bet that this is being fast tracked as someone of self importance got stuck in gridlock.

I wish we would do the way they do in Thailand.

They built freeways crisscrossing the city and as they became heavily used, they started building freeways above the freeway...

Why waste all that space above?

No offense Michel, but roads that all criss cross and weave over each other just look horrible.

Have seen them far worse than this:

Its like going to New York, so many tall buildings there is no sky left to look at.

I didn't meant spaghetti interchanges...
The crisscrossing is across the city, not into one another...

They are not as sophisticated as the US freeway system
