Silver AMG with full bodykit, 7.2ltr motor, last I heard the engine was being rebuilt in Sydney, Australia, and the custom AMG parts were being blueprinted to be copied and resold, haven't heard anything since though.....

Where did you hear that sh!t des?!?!??? If someones blueprinted that shyte and selling these parts i need to know. If they are i'm going shopping for a 6.9 engine to drop in the track car and put on some new heads / cams etc...

I could be wrong, but I think the owner of this car appeared on W116.org about 6 months ago, because he was looking for a 6.9 alloy sump and some other lower front end parts after an incident with a kerb or some such. He didn't get far because he was a bit abrasive to some on the forum.

I don't wish to offend anyone - as I say, I *think* its that's guy - correct me if I'm wrong.

I recall the person looking for the pan.
When I found him one for sale from a third party for a few hundred dollars (I was not making any money, just trying to help) he baulked...

Never heard from him again...

I bought my 6.9 at the time from the guy who owned this silver 6.9
He mentioned in the past it had been raced in Targa Tasmania, you can see the antenna's for the CB radios still on the car.

I have not spoken with the guy since shortly after the purchase time.
