Some nice cars, for sure. Takes me back to 1964 when the EJ was replaced by the EH and the Premier. At the time I was working for Unilever at their warehouse facility in Alexandria. I was employed in the Statistical Section keeping an eye on the efficiency ratio and bonus payments for the drivers.
The big news as far as the EH was concerned related to the body hugging fit of the front and rear bumper bars. There was great angst expressed by the two guys that worked in the Office next door as they felt that the bars provided little protection and any sort of shunt would easily damage the bodywork. Good point. They were responsible for the trucks going out on time and to the various destinations. They also thought that the styling was rather bland.
Geoff, thanks for the video - greatly appreciated. Regards. Styria
