Are Izuzu tied up with GM, if so in what way ? But I guess so, as they were sold through GM Holden and British GM Bedford.
They sold it off in 2006 after owning it for 35 years, along with Hummer and many other companies just before the GFC.
It’s now wholly Japanese owned again.
Some great cars and trucks and vans came from Isuzu badged as Bedfords & Holdens.
The earliest car I remember that was an Isuzu, badged as a Bellett.
Plenty of Isuzu based cars in this country before they sold it off. All pretty good too.
It was replaced by a GM global platform car called the Gemini.
