Hi Mark try Ozzy or Tempe tyres . Ozzy web page claims these suit Mercedes 400 series you will need to contact to make sure its w107,116 but seeing as they have separate section for S class its likely they are right offsets. The info that Mark provided is comprehensive and should not be treated lightly. As I have already stated, I did check with Shannon's for their verdict or opinions on this tyre issue. Mind you though, if you asked me who I spoke to, my reply would be in the negative. So I should just re-appraise the issue as a matter of some importance. Okay terrific Michel.

Spin in the 6.9 at this years Concours, that's if the 6.9 has not been sold before hand

So that means selling 300SE and replacing with 420 SE or 560SEL Tim as after a drive you will be disappointed driving your 300SE thinking there is a problem. As it just doesn't want to accelerate something must be wrong.

Actually they should be 97 or above according to the tyre placard....

Hi Mark according to my Euro 6.9 service book 93-95

Well if you go by your book the minimum is actually 93! The placard on my Aussie cars says 1610lbs, which 730kg and a load index of 97
