Here’s a project that was completed by a FB friend. Apparently a huge increase in power but torque suffered. Not ideal for a street engine & something I intend to avoid with my design...

A specific book I sourced, ordered & it finally arrived today! Looking forward to readIng it cover to cover. Even this edition was published many, many years ago but the science still remains the same. Just checking I haven’t missed something before I forge ahead! Finally I can send my prototype engine off to the fabricator next week since I'd been waiting for them to finish a custom exhaust on of all things a rare Lamborgini 4x4! Pix to follow when I plug all the openings and give it a wash before loading it on the trailer. It's pedal to the metal now, since I'm running out of time to get this finished but there's nothing like a bit of pressure to lite the fire and get you moving!

As you wish Michel! Degreaser & cold pressure wash x 2 + degreaser & warm pressure wash x 1. I could get it even better with a hot wash & scrub but that’s enough for now. I dropped it all off at my fabricator on Monday. 🎉🥳🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Well I contacted my fabricator around 3 weeks ago, just before a spontaneous holiday to Bali. Seems he was unable to construct some of my final design with the space constraints. So I went back to the drawing board for a rethink & came up with a revised design which could be even better. It certainly features some unusual & cool elements...

I’ll finish the scale drawing shortly & send it off to the builder hopefully Wednesday. Once built, it’ll be onto all the wiring & plumbing on ‘Midnight Express’ to get it finally ready for a chassis, or hub dyno.

Two heads with one stone... My spare engine now becomes the next test bed for a new manifold.

Plus the original & undamaged manifold goes on Red Bull.

This is a bit more suitable for Kjet! Fitted to a Delorean, but I’m not sure if it’s been modified from the original configuration.

I'm not sure either, but the PRV 6 that was in the Delorean wasn't the best performer, so it wouldn't surprise me if this is a custom job. That engine looks pretty big, so wouldn't surprise me if its a V8 conversion.

I've been looking to convert an M116 to carby and your pics are very helpful in my ideas stage. Have you come across any suppliers of inlet manifolds to suit a carby? Not much of a demand but surely some owners have given up on the Djet/Kjet and just whacked on a carby...

Why carby?
I've seen a couple of cars sold for pennies because the owners tried this and the car never ran properly and was sold at parts car value. Even if you get it to run, you'll make the car unsellable.

If you don't want the D-jet or K-ket better to convert to modern EFI.

Not too worried about the value of the car (my fantastic condition 280S would be lucky to get $8-9k - anything else V8 in comparable condtion would be $25k+), I'm not too keen on playing with EFI, may be the only option though.
