Interesting Registration Plates

Hello all,

As I missed out on the 2nd February this year. I could not let today's date pass without including a photograph
of my registration plate.

This is a vehicle registration from May. 1973 registered in our Capital City - Dublin.

Interested to know if any other member has interesting registration plates.

There is no provision within law in Ireland for owners to personalise their registration plates so it is only in instances such as mine that
any registration number could be in anyway stand out.

In Chinese culture I believe my registration plate would be considered to be a lucky number to have !!

A friend of mine has 33333H on his classic jaguar, just randomly got it.

In Australia (depending on various state laws) you can apply for special plates with almost any combination provided its withing 6 digits (except Western Australia where you can go to 7 digits).
Below are three different number plates with different meanings:
Michel (yours truly using my first name
SEL126 (referring to the long wheel base 126 series)
OOO056 (referring the year of manufacturing)

Although I am not a great fan of personalised plates because of the ongoing annual fee, I could not resist RRM1 for the Spirit. When the Spirit was first unveiled to the public it bore the plates RRM1 so I figured it was quite appropriate to use.
