I took my old digital camera only to find both SD cards full. I bought a new card and discovered the old camera couldn't cope with the massive storage space on the new card (seems I need a new camera). But as luck would have it the new SD card fitted perfectly into my Sony Handicam which also takes stills (fairly nice ones too)...
After finally loading the old SD cards onto a different computer, plus the new one, I can actually do something constructive with the pix!
I felt the 2018 show was a little disappointing re the number of display cars vs the great weather, but there were lots of spectators and I managed to get more photos than ever! I'm hoping I didn't observe alarming developments, but there were very few high-end display cars and almost no-one showing off their lavish sound systems. Many of the cars that did attend were starting to leave around lunchtime and maybe that was due to the large queues at the all-too-few food trailers?
On a brighter note, it was covered by the TV news that evening and its apparently the largest one-day car display in the Southern Hemisphere!
I only sighted 2 x W126 300SEs, a 380SL, a 450SL, plus a 300SEL 3.5 from the Benz camp.
