The Jensen FF was quite a ground breaking machine!
I've not seen one in the flesh, but one came up on shannons a few years ago.

Not many regular jensons made it down under. A couple in canberra i know of. I rebuilt the auto trans in a couple in brisbane many years ago. Quite a handful with the crysler v8. Not for the faint hearted in the wet!!

A mates in Coffs Harbor who happens to work for Shannons has 3 Jensen interceptors including a FF. He also has a collection off original Range Rovers and Rover SD3500 plus I nice original Cooper S

I will never ceased to be amazed at the Cars that turn up in Australia.
Especially in the Bush and country Towns.
Ditto in "The Land of the Long White Cloud"

C107 that FF went for that price on rarity. It was a very ruff example and needs extensive work. That's from my mate who owns one and knows the car as he actually knows almost all interceptor in Australia and the owners.

I assume that the extensive Repairs are the Body and not the Mechanical s.
The Chrysler V8 and the Torque Flite Auto Trans are bullet proof and can be easily repaired. Some $$s perhaps. The Ferguson System is also reputed to be very robust. Now if I could only wind the clock back 20 years >>>>

I was told a previous owner used it as a Targa car and it had a cage . He said it needed lots off work and was ruff and tired. And was well known as such to club members but rarity means it was still a good price and project.

Bryce these are a few off mates cars as I said works for Shannons and is fairly high in Jensen club publishes there magazine. He has 3 interceptors including FF

Cool cars.
I've always admired the interceptor, and the FF was so ahead of its time.
With so few made (320), you rarely see them. I can't recall if I have ever seen one in real life.

Mate is in Coffs. But pretty certain there isn't one in Australia he doesn't know about quotes chassis numbers when you ask about certain cars. And he said rarity drove one at auction. As it really did need a complete rebuild.

Since this thread I have seen a couple of FF's at various cars and coffee events in sydney.
There are at least two around, one is more stock and one is set up as a racer with roll cage etc.

The styling is timeless - my idea of good style is that it never looks dated and the lines are resolved.
The Jensen fils those criteria for me.
