Due to business commitments, I MUST SELL my beloved 6.9.

An early series (1976) Euro 6.9 11603622003312, it has been very well serviced and maintained.

Body and paint in near perfect order and will be delivered in detailed condition.
It is painted in Standox Clear over base paint using a unique formula comprising Pearls and Xirallics.
If you don't mind being stared at and are not afraid of standing out from the crowd, then this is for you.

Unique 690SEL badge. Available with or without the chrome 18 inch wheels (choice of stock Bundts or matching red/silver painted Bundts), but without the current number plates.
Standard plates from the RMS will be supplied as the ones on it are not for sale.

The car is nowhere near faultless, nor is it a show piece. It's well sorted out. Everything works.
Lots of money spent on it including all new front suspension, new spheres, new mounts and bushes, new brakes (including discs all around).
The engine and gearbox are simply bullet proof.

Selling due to the expansion of a business venture.

wankers can be winning bidders and scamBay will do nothing if they decide not to pay.
But you will be liable for insertion fees and final sale fee (irrespective that money never changed hands.

I "sold" a car multiple times for a misery 3 digit $ figure and all I got from scamBay was a bill for insertion fee and final sale fee that I had to wrestle to have it removed. I could not remove bids from low feedback bidders unless I was willing to pay for final sale fee if no better bids.

BTW,
are those headrests on the rear seats factory fitted?
I've never seen them there but I have not seen many 6.9's either...

Thanks for the comments, you are absolutely right on scammers, but I put that sign to frighten the newbies, who might consider acting stupid.

Rear headrest were standard (AFAIK) on all LWB 450s

The best thing about that car is the twin exhaust and I'd love to see how it was done given the location of the fuel pump etc

Yes I know that people like original. My 6.9 was completely original when I bought it and all parts removed have been kept for that very reason Michel. I do like the colour coded Bundts by the way. Pity they are not the 15 inch ones as I think they would look awesome in red just being that little bit bigger and filling the guards more.
