Could be a good project.
It was a shame we never got the big engine SWB 126 models. I would have a 560SE instead of an SEL if they had made that model in RHD and sold it here.

Don't think its a 560 - perhaps an import 500? Looks like the interior has been changed too.

There must have been cocaine in the glove box to get this price for a car that was listed as having rust in the D pillars. My opinion 2-3x market price.

These seem to go more like mid to high 30s for a nice driver quality 6.9, so probably a good buy for somebody.

This was a MBCNSW members car that was in very nice driver condition. I would say high teens is about right for these, so this seems about right.

Love the colour.
Just needs those horrible aftermarket chrome arch molds removed. I would imagine the 5 speed transforms the car. I drove an automatic 180E and didn't care for it.

0-100 kms in just a fraction under 13 seconds has little to recommend it. This was the true poverty pack vehicle; solid but most un-inspiring.
I would recommend only if you intend to run a taxi firm.

It would seem the 2.6 is the one to have, but don't think they brought any in manual out here.

They were the first entry level model, and boy were they entry level.

Only good if they have under 5k on the clock in a museum.
