I wonder what else they did to the m117 besides the twin snails to get 500 horse at 6500... certainly seems like quite a redline bump from standard...

No doubt lots of intake & exhaust mods with different cams & lightened valve train & rotating mass. Seems the possibilities were endless before they pulled the plug. I feel this car was the predecessor to the Sauber Mercedes C8 & that Melcher from AMG may have been involved

Who cares how it looks when it sounds that good lol?? Really my point of posting (apart from the interest factor), is that in every one of the V8 models lies the potential to sound that good….
