The 80s were just fabulous Mr Monkey. In fact, I owned a Canary Yellow ......
No; perhaps I will not tell you what it was. No; I definitely will not.
Mind you, in the 80s I also owned the Beta Rallye and the Milloetto and the Fiat 2300 so they were a good decade for me. That is apart from the Canary Yellow ...... . No; let's just stick with the fact that in the 80s I owned 7 Lancias at one point in time... and I lived inToorak but don't hold that agianst me please.

What you or I did, or drove, or where we were in the eighties is not relevant, I too could tell some tales, but design-wise especially for cars, but in other areas too, it is all best swept under the carpet.

PS - re the red Merc - have seen that around for a while now - not selling so well obviously. Definately less offensize than the white one, but the red bumper still ruins it.

Yeah, '66 Lincoln Continental convertible.
I lived in London at the time and through the American Car Club I was booked for the annual Hemel Hempstead August Carnival.
A town about 20 miles north of London, streets closed for the day, funfair and parade through town, and they want me to lead the parade, which that year had an American theme, with the Lord and Lady Mayor and Mayoress in the back of the car.
I have to drive at walking pace with a Police motorcycle escort - see those two in the background - and of course, the rain p*sses down.
I still had to do it with the top down, the two VIPs in the back had a large umbrella, I got soaked.
There may even be other photos.
All for a hundred quid I seem to remember.
