Purchasing two W126 wheels picking up the wheels on Saturday at the Motorfest.

300SE all ready for tomorrow's Motorfest.

Washed and vacuumed and detailed the 300SE today.

Washed and polished the alloys today see what you think?

Cold water and wash & wax then dried the alloys with a non-scratch microfibre towel.

Alloys were placed in the sun to dry then polished.

Whole job took me 1 hour.

Wheels fitted today and the front wheels have been balanced.

Spare wheel that was sold with the 300SE is badly scratched and chipped.

Filled up the car this morning $1.65 for BP 95 that did seem a bit expensive?!

BP 98 was $1.69 a litre.

Guy at my local BP said me to 'nice Mercedes mate', not a bad compliment I reckon.

In conclusion new wheels look terrific on the car and I can notice a difference since the front wheels have been balanced.

Hello Styria,

Did not take pics of the inside of the new wheels Styria.

But as I said inside and outside of the wheels were washed & polished.

Charging the camera batteries I will post pics of the old wheels from the inside.

Just looked at the old wheels inside of the spare is quite clean but scratched.

Back R/H wheel from the inside needs to be cleaned.

Camera batts have gone flat from last Saturday's Motorfest.

How are you Tarek and how is life in Cairo?

One wheel needs to be washed & polished I will do that.

The other wheel is the spare wheel even from the inside of the wheel it is badly scratched.

Tim - maybe you can focus you camera so your pictures are sharper? Some of your photos are clear but many are out of focus. Your camera handbook will probably explain how the focussing system works.
