The MBCNSW attempted to drive 107 107's across the harbour bridge today as part of the 50 year celebration. While we probably had half that number, it was a pretty good turn out:

Yes Bryce, thank you for your excellent pictures. Quite clearly, styling of the R and C107s is classic and will never age. I do recall that the Club had a Harbour Bridge Run probably the best part, if not longer, of 12-14 years ago. At that time, we started down in the Rocks Area, presumably the northern most end of, probably, Sussex Street and we ended up at the North Ryde RSL Club for a late breakfast.

Whilst enjoyable, the whole thing was probably somewhat chaotic, particularly breakfast at the Club, with long queues, a slow Club staff dealing with the food, not enough parking at the Club and I was glad to return home after it was all done. It was considered an outstanding success and there had to be at least sixty cars that took place. Regards Styria

The final point was a sausage sizzle in a park so that was pretty efficient.

Michel was there also, but sadly his R107 failed to proceed so he was in the modern SL.

A great day it was! And the rain held off!
i did not take many pictures as I saw Bryce snapping away and I knew he would have an excellent commentary as usual.
