Hi Helmet please clarify?
When you say the seal is 'off' is that off centre.
Yes , the part that sticks straight out should be along the rear beaver panel. Your photo shows it straight up around the Lh hinge. Not only cosmetic as the boot lid won't seal on the lower rear lip and you will draw in exhaust fumes . If you are lucky the guy that fitted didn't glue it in properly either and it can be removed and rectified. If it has been secured properly you might damage it when trying to remove it.
Helmet thank you very much for that information greatly appreciated.
Public holiday tomorrow as it is Australia Day I will go back to the guy on Friday.
All the best to you Helmet.
Well I will have that mark looked at as well.
Exhaust fumes NO thanks!

Hello,
Just had a new boot seal fitted.
Boot seal supplied from MB Classic California.
New actuating rods and wind deflector plate which are sunroof parts have also been installed.
Who fitted the boot seal? Looks off to me
Would be good to start another thread about the boot rubber, will help someone someday![]()
