Workshop Manual 280SL 107

Hi all, I am trying to get my hands on a workshop manual W107. I bought a Al Cheapo CD on ebay which proved to be no good. Any suggestions please

Hi Terqel, to the best of my knowledge, the only 'genuine' Workshop Manuals were published by Mercedes Benz of North America - I have never seen any other publications that were devoted to the 107 models.

The American books consisted of Volume 1 and Volume 2, which covered all facets of the cars except for the M116 (3.5 litre) and M117 (4.5 litre)) and the M110 (280) engines. So, in reality, you did really need three books. The body volume 1 & 2 books were substantial publications and when available, cost a small fortune - I'd guess just about $500.00 for the three books. Alas, publication and printing stopped about four to five years ago and you'd be lucky to find new ones on the shelves still. Therefore, ebay may be your only choice, or you may be able to procure some sort of CDs that would be appropriate to your model. Others on the forum may have further suggestions. Regards Styria
