Hi guys if anybody is interestd there is a m120 6ltr w140 v12 engine and gearbox for sale on ebay for $5000 in Sydney what a conversion that would make 300kw

You'd throw in a couple of headaches as well, wouldn't you. It's my understanding that the early V12s were extremely troublesome and leaked oil like you wouldn't believe. That's what I have heard anyway. Apparently the Brits had nothing on the Benz V12. Regards Styria

Can anyone see something that I'm not? They have it listed as 1 of 10 available?

My understanding would be that for 10k you could by an entire spare engine and gearbox to go with it...

Hi Michel interesting about ls2 but i dont think i have seen one at that price yet about 6500 is what i have seen them for sale at but with only extractors and a 2 and a half inch exhaust cold air intake and maffless tune a work college here in Perth has recorded 363.4 hp at the rear wheels @ 40 deg at Pro Auto and that is with ve 6ltr L98 not bigger vavle ls2 same mods on ls3 6.2ltr hsv is just over 400hp at wheels PS every workshop i have been to has told me to fit ls motor but i have been there done that with supercharged 5.7ltr ls1 in 6 speed vy onetonner no traction mid 12s

I run a 454 LS6 (factory quadrajet) mated to a Turbo 700 with a 10-bolt 3.36 LSD rear in my 1962 Chevy Belair (factory) 9-seater wagon....

You'd feel the earth shake when that engine runs....

Hi Motec69, you're talking stratospheric capacities and engine sizes. Has Michel finally met his match in the horse power stakes that you two have obviously been involved in over the years ?

The only time ever the ground shakes is when I stand in front of my 6.9 and I discover another problem ! Regards Styria
