W116 Manuals

[Oversize]

I know the auction's finished, but the point is the two manuals sold for nearly $300 (incl. postage)!!! Did anyone here buy them??

The price of these manuals seems to be increasing.

The going price was about US$75 for each volume not including postage for each manual when I purchased mine a couple or more years ago.

There is no extra information in them than what is on the CD or available on the internet in the factory manuals but it is always easier for me to read a book.



There is my collection of factory manuals that I have collected over the past 5 years or so.

This doesn't include other stuff like the 6.9 engine manual, wiring diagrams or technical information that has been accumulated and stored electroncally.

I have no 116 manuals other than the haynes books that came with Lili (Thank you Alex!) and Ive watched genuine 116 books go for big dollars and when I rang my usual motor book supplier (Motor books Camberwell) they had none but could order them should I wish.

116's online books have pulled me from the poo and also reassured me so for the time being or until I find proper CD's (Not aftermarket) im relying on the web available stuff.

I found that the 124 manuals were great in PDF form and i could print them and add notes or my own, something I also do with the 116 manuals and would never do to workshop manuals (Original)
