Not many of these about - this was reported on a USA list I frequent, so I thought that Topklasse uses may find it interesting too.

Would they have pushed the firewall back at all for the fit??
Was it an MB V12, of of an 600SL or something?? Looks like an extremely tight fit!!

M120 is the Mercedes V12 engine.

I thought long and hard about doing something like that, but I decided against it because the weight distribution of the car would be way off.
Looks like he did a good job, though.

You've got to admire enterprise and modifications on that scale. Heaven knows, even in 350 and 450 V8 installations, the engine is quite a tight fit, let alone 12 cylinders.....

It's a pity that we've only got the one picture, but having a bit of a look around and seeing the massive tool boxes, there could well be some serious mechanical knowledge on tap - and with a project like this, it's preety essential. Regards Styria
