This year is special because it's the 50th and last in this series. But you're right, I think we're all waiting for next year!!!

Great race today certainly a fair share of crashes!

Well done to Holden winning this years race there you go a MB owner/enthusiast praising a Holden.

Bring on the 2013 Bathurst 1000!!

What a great (close) finish to end the series! In case you missed it, Holden won and beat Ford by a very narrow margin. I taped the whole thing and watched bits as I did things around the house.

So now it's over, bring on 2013! I'll be lining up at Clipsal to buy the new Stone Bros Racing Mercedes merchandise!!!!

Craig Lowndes drove well he was in fifth position but right at the end of the race he finished in third position a fine effort!

I heard on the news Whincup's contract expires in two years he may consider his future with V8 Supercars, Whincup if he decides to leave would be a big loss!

Great race yesterday and even live coverage had a great atmosphere of the old classic 'Ford vs Holden' battle it was excellent!
