Presently, Parks has an absolutely delightful project in our workshop - it is an exquisitely styled Allemano Abarth 750cc Convertible - when we have the opportunity, we'll post photos of this baby. Anyway, I had always been vaguely familiar with the name Allemano, an Italian Coachbuilder of some note that closed his doors back in 1965. Anyway, googling Allemano guided me to Coachbuild.com and, if remembering correctly, Benz Boy may already have come up with this site some four weeks ago - I think.
Anyway, doing a bit of 'looking', I came across this 1922 Bugatti that's been retrieved from the bottom of Lago Maggiore. Such a romantic name for a lake, also perpetuated by an Italian singer by the name of Vico Torriani - he had any number of hits back in '50s - before the advent of Rock 'n Roll. So, it will be interesting what will happen to this Bugatti.....I am hoping the link will work.
