The badge is of the wrong era (current) and available for a few dollars on eBay.

Most dealers NEVER sell through an eBay transaction.

They use eBay as a cheap way of advertising and then negotiate outside of eBay.

For example our friend Charles CH... does that... again his feedback is very low.

Quite a stunning looking car and, in the overall scheme of things as portrayed, great value for money. Unlike Michel, I do like those wheels and aren't they the same as the ones on Oversize's Blue Flame ?

I don't have a problem with the wheels Godfather....

I quite like the whole package.

Even though I might change wheels for some Ronals or even Pentas.

From the pictures they're not Centras. The holes around the outside appear to be bigger, with a different shape. I'd say they're probably copies made by CSA or similar. I'd definitely try something different. I really like this car though, probably due to the colour and body kit....

Mark, are the Centras on your Blue Flame, or in general, really that good or is it just a matter of visual appeal ? I mean, they do look nice, especially when nicely polished up. I'll have to find a picture of a 450SE/SEL that lives in Bright, Victoria and belongs to the manager of Mount Kosiousku (my God, I can't spell it and too lazy to look up). I met him in Bright, and in due course his secretary brought the car to Sydney and I refitted another interior to the car, and tidied it up generally. Regards Styria

There is no making this car look good in my eyes. I have always hated the looks of this particular Mercedes. It's a hideous bad attempt to make a 4 seater out of a 2 seater platform.

It looks to me like someone just said, here.......add some "fins" to extend the rear side windows and it will look awesome.

I hate it, it looks unfinished and like somebody just threw it together.

Happy that someone appreciates them though, lol.

Styria the Centras were made in Germany and I suspect they're lighter than the copies. The centre holes are too big for the W116 hubs (without sleeves) and I wonder what cars they were made to suit. I believe versions were fitted to early Brock / HDT Commodores, but they're not interchangable as the stud patterns (PCD) are different.

Yes I prefer the genuine article as I think they look better than any copy I've seen so far. But that's all personal taste....
