I made the time to christen my new garage this weekend and redo the brakes on Six 3.
New pads from the Classic Centre and genuine MB brake fluid from fleabay, $9 per litre.
The front pads were well worn
The rears not so bad, sorry no new pad to compare but about 50% worn
The new garage, soon to be redundant as I cannot fit a hoist in
I was lucky, the calipers were good before I changed pads, it was a breeze, the pistons moved back into the calipers with ease and I used a compressed air brake bleeding tool after replacing the pads, a one man job!
I sucked all the old fluid out with the bleeding tool and bled the lines untill new fluid was running in the lines.
Now I have strong progressive brakes with great pedal feel
